Front lit, back lit, with or without backer panel
In a channel letter sign, each letter is manufactured separately in the form in which it appears in the logotype. The letters are mounted separately on a raceway, highlighting them against the background.
The backs and returns of the letters are made of aluminium that can either be baked or powder coated, if necessary. Tinted acrylic sheets and coloured illuminated advertisement films offer numerous colour choices for the front surface. For illumination, we deploy cutting-edge LED modules and power supplies that have proven their reliability in practice.
Front lit channel letter signs
On a frontlit sign, the letters are lit from the inside out, illuminating the front surface of each letter. The front surface is made of translucent acrylic suitable for illuminated signs.
Back lit channel letter signs
A backlit sign is also lit from the inside out, but the light is directed towards the back of the letter, whereas the front surface is made of opaque, painted aluminium.
Channel letter sign with a backer panel
Channel letters can be fixed to a backer panel in the desired colour to further optimise the appearance of the sign.
Front and back lit
In front and backlit signs, both the front surface and the back of the letter are illuminated, which creates an impressive halo effect around the letters. For backlighting, the letters are mounted on the background using studs and the LED lights are mounted on a plate on the back of each letter. For a constant light colour in both directions, the plate can be made of transparent acrylic. For different colours in each direction, the plate is made of an opaque material.
